You know I’m that kind of person who cries while packing those favourite bikinis back in the drawer. Summer is not a season for me, it’s my happy place, my inspiration, my escape from reality. I want to keep that summer feeling when autumn comes, when the leaves turn colour. But if everything goes the way I planned, the next few months will be quite busy for me, so buying a plane ticket and heading off to a tropical island isn’t possible (maybe next year :D). The only way I can sip a ”hugo” in my bikinis is next to a pool, so I had to find another easy way to keep my bikinis out of the drawer.

I’m one of those people who would be delighted if summer could last all year long. My love for sea is endless and I would pick 30°C over 0°C every day! I could live in summer dresses, shorts and swimsuits, without even thinking about my beloved warm oversized sweater.

After a short blogging detox, I’m back! 🙂 Lately, I’ve been focusing on useful content, posts that are more than just pretty photos. On things you might find useful and would help you one way or another.
I’ll start short and sweet, with 5 stretching tips. Whether you want to improve your splits or you are just looking for a way to feel more flexible, there are some general things you should pay attention to.
- Don’t expect instant results. You won’t become super flexible after doing some yoga bridges and pigeon stretches. But you’ll see some results soon, so make sure you adapt the exercises to your abilities. And take some photos! Sometimes I don’t feel like I’m making progress but when I look at the photos I’m surprised by the difference!
- You don’t have to stretch every day. I usually do one (or sometimes two) flexibility training each week (along with pole classes and strength trainings, which all include some stretching) and I’m more flexible every week. In the beginning, I find it better to have more short stretching sessions and later make them longer.
- Stretch both sides of your body and always stretch in the opposite direction, too. It doesn’t matter if your right split feels more comfortable than the left one, spent the same amount of time and effort on both.
- Wear something comfortable. You won’t only stretch easier, but you’ll also feel better.
- Always warm up before a flexibility training and stretch after every training. I think I don’t need to explain this one. 🙂 And always focus on the form to prevent injuries – don’t push yourself over your limits!

You’ve probably heard a million times how important self love really is. And I think it’s more than just a new cheesy trend. The phrase ”Love yourself first” is so much more than just an Instagram caption, a quote, written in a nice font. It’s the most important step you have to take on your path to a fulfilling life and it’s both easy and hard to achieve. But when you do, there’s no more settling for something or someone. There’s a lot of working on yourself, finding out what makes you happy and what doesn’t, what makes you productive and what makes you feel lazy. You start reaching for you dreams, regardless of other’s expectations and you are surround yourself by people, who will encourage you, help you, believe in you. There’s no more thinking about how you should look. Instead of that, you focus on how you want to look – inside and outside, and you don’t care about the ideals in magazines and social media. You see yourself as a whole.
The path to self love is the one that never ends. You might have some wrong turns, some steps backs, some stops. Just keep going :).

There are places that look magical even on a cold, cloudy winter day, such as Zelenci. That perfect emerald green colour charms everyone, regardless of the weather and is taking over Instagram :). You don’t have to walk far to get to them – it depends on the parking spot, so the walk can take 10-15 minutes or 1 hour. It’s a place to see, where you can enjoy in the beautiful sights and relax. It’s a place you have to visit, if you are near Kranjska Gora, and you won’t spend the whole day walking there, so you’ll have plenty of time to visit other sights nearby (such as Lake Jasna) and possibly risk seeing TOO MANY beautiful places in one day. It may sound cheesy, but Zelenci and so many sights nearby are a true winter wonderland. Even though I can’t wait for spring and warmer temperatures, I just love sights like this.

Chocolate soufflé – the one dessert I always wanted to try out, but heard so many times how hard it is to bake it. I didn’t want to fail and end up spending one hour to clean the oven :D. Well, I made the notorious chocolate soufflé for the third time yesterday. I’m definitely not a soufflé professional, but now I have a simple recipe. Yes, I failed once, when I was trying to get the perfect amount of ingredients for two or a small group of friends 😀 But now, I have a simple recipe, inspired by the one on this page (and probably many other recipes I found while searching for the easiest one:)). My version is for 2-3 people (or just for one, depending on how hungry you are:)). And it’s really simple, no special ingredients, the hardest part is separating egg whites and yolks :). All you need is:
75g of dark chocolate
50g of butter
50g of caster sugar
40g of flour
